Shelby unveils all new 750 HP wide-body Super Snake Mustang

The horsepower wars are heating up again now that Shelby American has entered the fray with their wide-body version of the 6th gen Ford Mustang.

Wide-body versions of the Mustang have been incredibly popular over the past few years, so it was just a matter of time before the new edition made an appearance.

The question on everyone’s mid is how will this compare against the wide-body Dodge Challenger SRT Demon?

The Ford Shelby Super Snake Wide Body is strictly a concept car at the moment. Shelby American has stretched the rear track by about 4″ and the front track by 2.5″, but that’s not the limit of their modifications.

Their engineers started with a Super Snake 50th Anniversary Edition and added bigger brake discs, wider wheels and tires, and a fully adjustable coil over suspension. The result should be a Super Snake with more grip on the road and better braking than its factory counterpart.

Take a first look at the wide-body Super Snake in the video below.
