Dad builds son a hovercraft with supplies from Home Depot

It’s a time honored tradition for fathers to build their child’s first bike, but this dad took things a step further.

Paul Boswell, a research scientist in Minnesota, made his son a miniature hovercraft using nothing more than basic hardware supplies.

“I originally built it thinking it would be safer than a go-kart. You know, the billowy skirt would make it so you just bounce off everything. Nope! It’s hard to steer and heavy,” Boswell said when he posted the video on Reddit. “It slams into things hard. I added the rope to the back so I could stop him before he figured out how to control it himself.”
